Transylvania Habitat for Humanity (THH) is a longstanding organization based in Transylvania County. THH identified that it is more cost effective based on the limited availability of contractors to bring someone in-house to complete repairs. THH repairs a range of homes, not just those that were built by THH. Golden LEAF grant funds will be used for a time-limited contractor and for supplies and materials to manage increased workload for home repair as a result of Hurricane Helene.
