This Golden LEAF grant will help Haywood Vocational Opportunities, Inc. (HVO) expand its operations and secure additional contracts for production of medical supplies. The expanded production will allow HVO to create 75 new jobs with average wages of $13/hour. Increased production will require HVO to secure additional manufacturing space. Golden LEAF funds would be used for renovation and up-fit costs of that space.
