This grant provided funding to the Greene County public school system to enhance its middle and high school STEM career pathways programs. The enhancements were designed to strengthen existing pathways in the health science and information technology workforce training programs. Greene County Schools also partnered with Lenoir Community College to establish a Computer Integrated Machining (CIM) program in Greene County. Golden LEAF funds were used for machining, mechatronics, health sciences, and computer programming equipment, and software and curriculum costs.
