The purpose of this grant is to support the training and placement of students in the Gaston County area by complementing the services provided by the NC Community College System. Golden LEAF funds will be used to purchase computers, software, and licenses to allow Gaston Literacy Council to provide workforce training to clients that are not able to pursue that training in the traditional community college setting.
