Description:

This award will allow the City of Jacksonville to complete clearing and grading that will yield nearly 40 acres of stormwater-ready sites at Jacksonville Business Park. The city has plans to work with a private developer to construct a 100,000 square foot shell building on the site. The city expects the site will attract companies that will create 400 new jobs at an average annual wage of $44,400.00 and $33,000,000 in private investment.
