This award allowed the City of Jacksonville to complete clearing and grading that yielded nearly 40 acres of stormwater-ready sites at Jacksonville Business Park. The city planned to work with a private developer to construct a 100,000 square foot shell building on the site. The city expected the site to attract companies that would create 400 new jobs at an average annual wage of $44,400.00 and generate $33,000,000 in private investment.
