Partners in Ministry operated a housing rehabilitation program (known as ROAR) in Scotland, Richmond, and Robeson counties. ROAR worked with low-income homeowners to repair homes damaged by major disasters. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund was used for materials and labor (if needed) for home repair for victims of Hurricane Florence. Partners in Ministry also operated a distribution center following Hurricane Florence. The items available included food, water, clothing, baby items, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and household goods donated by community partners. Grant funds were also used to supplement donations to serve additional families.
