The United Way of the Cape Fear Area (UWCFA) serves Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties. UWCFA partners with organizations operating throughout the four county region including: Brunswick Family Assistance. Catholic Charities, Columbus Long Term Recovery, Baptist Disaster Relief, Help Hub, The Salvation Army, UMCOR, and WARM. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund was used to support rebuilding, rapid rehousing, mold remediation, and temporary shelter expenses for survivors of Hurricane Florence.
