Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist in the creation of the first southern flounder farms in the United States. The project will work with private aquaculture producers to provide one-on-one instruction in the design, set up, and operation of a hatchery system. Project leaders will also hold workshops to introduce the project to potential flounder growers throughout the state.
