Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Northampton County to construct a public road that will provide access to a County-owned industrial park. Enviva, LP, a manufacturer of wood pellets, has committed to locate in the park and hire at least 62 new, full-time employees at wages averaging $17.30/hr. The Company will invest a minimum of $60 million in capital improvements at the site.
