The existing emergency medical services building in Seven Springs was flooded during Hurricane Matthew. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funds were used to relocate the EMS station to a new location outside of the floodplain. The County also selected a site that allowed it to shorten the response times for calls and maximize service, thereby increasing citizen safety and improving the delivery of medical services.
