The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist with predevelopment activities associated with the establishment Phase One of the Crossing at 64, an 85-acre planned community that will consist of commercial, retail, mixed-use housing and recreational activities. This project will result in new economic development, job creation and commercial activities in an underserved portion of Rocky Mount in Edgecombe County.
