This Golden LEAF grant provided funding to the City of Conover for the extension of water to serve the proposed site of Project Grow. Project Grow was Arhuas, LLC, which retailed high-quality home furnishings in the United States. At the time of application, Arhaus had four facilities in Catawba County. This project allowed the company to consolidate those facilities and create 117 new positions. The company had also considered locating this facility in Cleveland, Ohio, near existing distribution facilities. The average annual wage of the new jobs was $48,129.49.
