Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will assist with the completion of the Columbus Regional Sewer Line. Funds for this project will be used to construct the sewer lift station that connects the regional sewer line between Bolton and Whiteville. The lift station is the final part of a $7 million plus project. The lift station and connecting sewer lines will serve the Towns of Bolton and Lake Waccamaw and a section of rural Columbus County parallel to the site of future I-74. The expanded capacity will also accommodate all future expansion of industry and commerce.
