The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Agricultural Leadership Development Program. The program will provide a two-year intensive learning opportunity to twenty-five farmers and agribusiness representatives and five extension agents from across NC. The program will increase their understanding of their businesses, industries, communities, economies and society as they are related to agriculture and rural communities.
