Description:

The purpose of this project is to provide funding to WNC Communities for the installation of a metal catwalk above the livestock holding pens at the new WNC Regional Livestock Center. The catwalk will let buyers view livestock before each sale, thus encouraging more and higher bids. The structure will also improve worker and visitor safety. Without it, buyers would not be allowed to enter the sales barn due to safety and insurance concerns.
