As a result of Hurricane Matthew, a significant amount of debris is impeding water flow in Wayne County streams. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to complete stream cleanout projects and thereby reduce the risk of flooding to homes and businesses, agriculture fields, poultry and swine facilities, and surrounding natural habitats.
