The Bridle Path area in the Village of Clemmons experiences frequent flooding. During heavy rain events, the road floods and becomes dangerous for travel, and flood waters back up into residents’ yards. Golden LEAF flood mitigation grant funds will be used to increase the capacity for stormwater at this site by upsizing and improving the alignment of the existing pipes. Households in the immediate project area will benefit from this project.
