The purpose of this grant was to provide funding to the Alamance-Burlington School system to purchase Chromebook devices for teachers and their classes to implement a pilot digital learning initiative. The project included a competitive application process for teacher participation in the pilot. In addition, the project provided training and coaching for teachers chosen to participate, along with a dedicated coach to support the project. Golden LEAF funds were used for Chromebooks and charging carts for twenty (20) classrooms.
