Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Person County to support continued efforts to implement its 1:1 laptop program in the school district. The County has used County and Race to the Top funds for initial acquisition of necessary devices. Golden LEAF grant funds will allow Person County to strengthen its efforts by incorporating best practices in areas such as professional development, instructional facilitation, and district leadership development.
