Golden LEAF welcomes Senior Program Officer

In July, the Golden LEAF Foundation welcomed Jacqueline Smith, Senior Program Officer.

“We are excited to have Jacqueline to help carry out the mission of the Foundation,” said Scott T. Hamilton, Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer. “Jacqueline brings a great set of skills and expertise to our hardworking team of dedicated professionals.”

In her role, Smith manages awarded grants and participates in various program-related activities and special projects, collaborating with the Senior Vice President/General Counsel and the Vice President/Chief of Staff. 

Smith has over 15 years of experience managing multi-million-dollar grants in healthcare and education, including private universities and the Ivy League.

Smith holds a Doctorate in Education from Gardner-Webb University, a double master’s degree in Health Administration and Organizational Leadership from Pfeiffer University, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Smith is a native of Cameron and currently resides in Garner.
