As a program officer, I help ensure Golden LEAF funds are used to positively impact rural North Carolina economies. I conduct due diligence and review inquiries related to applications to assess their alignment with the foundation’s funding priorities. I serve as a liaison to grantees on funded projects supporting their financial and pragmatic success.

I am responsible for processing accounts payable, recording journal entries, assisting with annual audits, and other accounting functions assigned by the Vice President of Finance. I am also responsible for Human Resources duties such as assisting staff with questions and concerns regarding their annual leave and annual sick leave.

I oversee the grant process, including management of our grants management system and the data it contains. My role involves ensuring accurate, efficient workflows that support staff and grantees throughout the grant lifecycle.
