Golden LEAF’s new SPARC Initiative supports bold, collaborative projects that address critical needs and unlock transformative opportunities in rural North Carolina.
SPARC is designed to advance the Foundation’s mission through innovative, high-impact initiatives. The projects that will be funded through this program will all have a rural focus, align with Golden LEAF’s mission, include exceptional partnerships or leverage significant resources from other sources, and have a deep and enduring impact on the community served.
SPARC projects are typically unique, multifaceted, and driven by regional assets and circumstances.
This program is for economic development projects aligned with the Golden LEAF priority funding areas, but they may not include standard Golden LEAF outcomes and may have other unusual characteristics.
