This award provides funding to Harnett Regional Jetport to construct a new access road that will allow the Jetport to create sites for construction of eight new hangars. Construction of the hangars will result in approximately $11 million in private investment. The Jetport anticipates that the project will also create 10 new aircraft maintenance positions paying an average annual wage of over $60,000. Golden LEAF funds will be used for construction and related expenses.
