This award provides funding to Jackson County Economic Development to construct public infrastructure for a new housing development. The property to be served by the infrastructure is owned by Mountain Projects, a 501(c)(3) organization, which will develop 33 affordable single-family homes to serve workers in the community. The project is a component of the larger Webster Village project that also includes multi-family workforce and senior housing. Golden LEAF funding will be used for water and sewer infrastructure that will serve the Mountain Projects development.
