In May, the Golden LEAF Foundation welcomed Jala Hill as the Scholarship Program Associate.
“We are excited to have Jala to help carry out the mission of the Foundation,” said Scott T. Hamilton, Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer. “Jala brings a great set of skills to our hardworking team of dedicated professionals.”
In her role, Hill is responsible for outreach to Golden LEAF Scholars, implementing digital engagement campaigns, managing scholarship inventory, and supporting alumni engagement.
Hill previously interned at Golden LEAF for three semesters as a Scholarship Program Intern. She also was an intern for the North Carolina Department of Revenue and has other experience in hospitality and customer service.
Hill has an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Martin Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University. She was raised in Elizabeth City and currently resides in Williamston.
