This grant provided funding to Weldon Middle School to implement a digital learning project. Teachers received professional development in using technology as a tool to improve instructional practice. Students and teachers received digital devices as part of the project. The problem-based learning environment was designed to support students as they transition into a STEM high school consisting of two academies: Health Sciences and Advanced Manufacturing. Golden LEAF funds were used for professional development and technology.
