The Green Chair Project was established in 2010 to provide donated goods for families in crisis following homelessness or disaster. Funding from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund was used for replacement furniture and household items for victims of Hurricane Florence, operation expenses (including direct staffing and temporary storage) to support this effort, as well as shipping.
