This grant provided funding to Harnett County for the design and construction of road, water, sewer, and drainage improvements in the County-owned Brightwater Technology Park. The project provided infrastructure that serves a medical office building (MOB). The MOB is located near Harnett Health System’s Central Harnett Hospital, which is also in the park. Additionally, the infrastructure serves undeveloped parcels the county owns at the park. Harnett Health expected to create 20 full-time positions at the MOB. Golden LEAF funds were used for the design and infrastructure construction.
