The purpose of this grant was to provide funding to Harnett County Schools, along with its partner Central Carolina Community College, to expand its Advanced Manufacturing and Health Sciences career pathways. The mission and goal for this program were to increase student awareness of careers available in the region and prepare the future workforce of Harnett County for high-demand employment opportunities in the area. Golden LEAF funds were used to renovate and expand selected labs/classrooms, add equipment, and provide classroom resources.
