This award provides funding to Scotland County to construct an approximately 30,000-square-foot shell building, expandable to 60,000 square feet, located at the SCEDC Incubator Park. The county anticipates that completion of the building would result in $2.247 million in public infrastructure investment, $1.5 million in private capital investment, and the creation of 25 new jobs with an average annual wage of $54,139. Golden LEAF funds will be used for design, planning, site work, and construction of the shell building, canopy, and preparation for a future loading dock.
