Program Associate

Kathy Ktul joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in March 2024. As Program Associate, Kathy is responsible for conducting initial reviews of requirements and reports, including reviewing submissions for completeness, checking correct form usage, and verifying information accuracy. She prepares initial drafts of monitoring level assessments for review.

Before joining Golden LEAF, Kathy worked for colleges in the North Carolina Community College System. She was the Registrar at Vance-Granville Community College and worked in ESL/International Admissions at Wake Technical Community College. Kathy also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

A native of Rochester, New York, Kathy holds a master’s degree in International Development from NC State University, a bachelor’s degree in Education from Cornell University, and an associate degree in Agricultural Science from SUNY Alfred. She lives in Franklin County with her husband and a dog, a horse, five cats, a small herd of goats, and a flock of ducks.
