This award will allow Person County to complete due diligence on and clear and grade a 26-acre parcel in the county-owned North Park Site. The county expects that the project will attract a private developer or industry that will create 148 new, full-time jobs with average annual salary of $50,000 and $35 million in private, capital investment.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
