Jacqueline Smith joined the Golden LEAF Foundation as Senior Program Officer in July 2024. In her role, she manages awarded grants and participates in various program-related activities and special projects, collaborating with the Senior Vice President/General Counsel and the Vice President/Chief of Staff.
Jacqueline has over 15 years of experience managing multi-million-dollar grants in healthcare and education, including private universities and the Ivy League.
Jacqueline holds a Doctorate in Education from Gardner-Webb University, a double master’s degree in Health Administration and Organizational Leadership from Pfeiffer University, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill.
As a native of North Carolina, Jacqueline enjoys day trips to the beach and mountains, spending time with family, and volunteering with Business and Professional Women of the Triangle and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
