Erica Smith joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in January 2022. As the Vice President of Finance, she oversees all financial accounting and reporting functions, including the day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, audit and tax reporting. She also oversees the human resources function at the Foundation. Erica serves on the President’s leadership team.
Prior to joining Golden LEAF, Erica served as Senior Vice President – Financial Reporting Manager at a community bank in North Carolina. She started her career in public accounting in Raleigh with KPMG.
A native of Greene County, Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Accounting, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Erica lives in Wilson County with her husband and two children.
