Katie Fisher

Katie Fisher joined the Golden LEAF Foundation in August 2023. As a program officer, Katie evaluates funding proposals, supports the implementation of Golden LEAF priorities, and provides oversight for project monitoring and compliance activities. Before joining Golden LEAF, Katie worked as a consultant providing grant writing and project administration services to rural communities across North Carolina.

Katie started her career with nonprofits while earning her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While Katie is a native of eastern North Carolina, she currently resides in Raleigh, where she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
