Golden LEAF revamps website to improve outreach, enhance user experience, move economic needle

The Golden LEAF Foundation recently revamped its website to improve outreach, enhance user experience, and move the economic needle. The site can still be found at www.goldenleaf.org.

The updated site provides easy-to-use navigation tools and features new ways to learn about how Golden LEAF is fulfilling its mission to increase economic opportunity in North Carolina’s rural and tobacco-dependent communities.

Golden LEAF’s funding priorities, required quantitative outcomes, and programs pages have been updated to reflect the adoption of the strategic plan and contain helpful information about the types of projects the Board places priorities on in funding. The website also includes information about low priority projects.

The News section has an enhanced navigation and includes options such as sorting by press releases, project spotlights, or perspective pieces. The enhanced navigation provides ways to research Golden LEAF projects and outcomes, interviews with Golden LEAF partners, or spotlights on Golden LEAF’s Board members and scholarship recipients.

Visit www.goldenleaf.org to view these changes and to learn how Golden LEAF-funded projects are helping move the economic needle in rural, tobacco-dependent, and economically distressed North Carolina communities.
