Description:

Yaupon Pier, which is owned by the Town of Oak Island, suffered extensive damage as a result of Hurricane Matthew and was condemned. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to demolish and rebuild the pier. FEMA and insurance funds are not sufficient to complete this project.
