Trenton United Methodist Church was inundated with more than two feet of water as a result of Hurricane Florence, damaging walls, flooring, appliances and the roof, leading to growth of mold. Golden LEAF Hurricane Florence Disaster Recovery Grant Program funds will be used to repair the damaged church. The church received insurance proceeds to replace the roof and is applying for an SBA loan. The conference and church membership will also contribute funding to the project for improvements not related to the disaster.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
