This award extended the Town of Pollocksville’s sewer main under the planned US Highway 17 bypass. By installing this infrastructure prior to construction of the highway, the town saved significant costs. Once the bypass was completed, the necessary utility infrastructure for future businesses was already in place. Golden LEAF funds were used for construction and related costs.
