The Town of Bolton is providing disaster relief and assistance to residents throughout the greater Bolton area. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund will be used to provide rental assistance and assist with home repairs. Bolton will leverage existing partnerships with Brunswick Housing Opportunities, a pool of local contractors, and a network of local churches to complete repairs and share information. The town anticipates at least 25 households will benefit from rental assistance or home repair. The town also proposes improvements to the Senior Center including purchase of an ice machine, cots, and emergency generators.
