This award provides funding to the Town of Tabor City to construct an approximately 25,000-square-foot shell building, expandable to 50,000 square feet, located at the Tabor City Industrial Park. The county anticipates that completion of the building would result in $2,430,900 in public infrastructure investment, $750,000 in private capital investment, and the creation of 20 new jobs with an average annual wage of $55,000. Golden LEAF funds will be used for design, planning, site work, and construction of the shell building.
