This grant provides funding to the Center for Agricultural and Food Entrepreneurship to support the work of Blue Ridge Food Ventures (BRFV). BRFV provides a shared-use processing and packaging facility for food and natural products manufacturers. Golden LEAF support will allow BRFV to recruit new businesses and help grow existing clients. The project is expected to create 15 new jobs, retain 25 jobs, and lead to $2.5 million in revenues from the sale of products made at BRFV.
