This grant provided funding to the Center for Agricultural and Food Entrepreneurship to support the work of Blue Ridge Food Ventures (BRFV). BRFV provides a shared-use processing and packaging facility for food and natural products manufacturers. Golden LEAF support allowed BRFV to recruit new businesses and help existing clients grow. The project was expected to create 15 new jobs, retain 25 jobs, and lead to $2.5 million in revenues from the sale of products made at BRFV.
