After the devastation caused by flooding stormwater during and after Hurricane Florence the town identified a need to improve the resiliency of the stormwater systems. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used to enable the completion of a stormwater study. The town has initiated a stormwater fee beginning in the 2020 fiscal year. Fees will be used towards implementing the recommendations of the plan.
