The purpose of this grant is to provide a portion of the funds needed by Bladen Community College for the construction of an Advanced Manufacturing Technology building designed to help meet the workforce training needs of current and prospective employers. The facility will support the college’s health care programs, STEM courses and advanced manufacturing programs. The space will also accommodate an increase in the number of students taking Career and College Promise courses in high school through a partnership with the Bladen County Schools New Schools Project.
