Waterline breaks as a result of Hurricane Matthew caused Southeastern Health to lose public water utility service. Water outage affects all aspects of patient care and the hospital’s ability to function. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to design, drill, and install a potable water well onsite to mitigate against future water loss.
