The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Scotland Health Care System for a three-part project that will expand access to health care services in the county. The project includes (1) renovating the Emergency Center to increase the number of patient rooms and provide a safer and more secure behavioral health suite; (2) the addition of staff and providers to Harris Family Practice to increase hours of service; and (3) the addition of space to Scotland Surgical’s existing building to expand the waiting area and create additional procedure rooms, exam rooms and offices.
