This award provides funding to Pender County for Project C. The company will occupy a facility to be constructed on the former BASF site, which is now owned by Pender County. The total investment in real and personal property is expected to be $400 million. The company will create 1,000 jobs at the site which will pay an average wage of $31,200. Golden LEAF funds will be used to support demolition of existing structures on the site, which is required prior to the sale of the property to the business.
