Description:

This award provides funding to the Town of Mocksville for Project Shed, which is Liberty Storage Solutions. The company will expand its operations in Mocksville onto 20 acres adjacent to its current location making an investment of $8 million. The company will create 50 new jobs with average annual wages of $47,500, plus benefits, compared to the Davie County average of $39,600. Golden LEAF funds will be used for part of the cost to extend a public road to serve the company’s new location. Other funders of the road include the NCDOT and the Town of Mocksville.
