Wind and rain during Hurricane Florence damaged the roof of the church, enabling water to enter the building and damage the interior. Interior damage includes peeling paint from plaster walls. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds are requested to enable repair of the church. Insurance proceeds will be used toward the project.
